Daniel Kyri, a Chicago-born actor, writer/director, filmmaker, and singer called upon us to create a home that would be his sanctuary after long days on set. Understanding his unique sensibilities, we embarked on a journey to design a space that truly resonates with his artistic soul. We commissioned a custom rawhide rug that artfully captured the essence of his craft, which is reminiscent of vinyl records and movie reels. Knowing Daniel's love for reading, we designed a large built-in library, where his cherished books could find a home. For the bedroom, we aimed to create a space that reflects Daniel's appreciation for texture and African American themes.
